Shanna Hughes

Director of Catering

Shanna Hughes is a Colorado native and an Army brat who was born on Fort Carson in Colorado Springs. She has two children - a daughter and son - whom she describes as the "best projects she ever created." And in addition to her children, she also has the honor of taking care of her mother. Shanna's background and love for the military was heavily influenced by her life experience with the Army, as well as living in Greece and England under Air Force command and being in a long standing relationship with a retired Marine.

With over 17 years of hospitality experience, Shanna has had the pleasure and opportunity to work with some of the finest organizations within the Colorado Springs community, the state of Colorado, the country and the world. Most of Shanna's career was spent under the Hilton brand, working for 14 years at The Doubletree by Hilton, before beginning employment at Cheyenne Mountain Resort in January of 2015. Shanna's interests include music, dancing, interior design, home and yard redesigns, hiking and a love of classic cars. One of Shanna's mottos to live by is "Don't settle for mediocracy, always strive for excellence."

Stephanie Maloney

Catering Sales Manager, CMP

Stephanie joined the Cheyenne Mountain Resort team with over 10 years of experience in hospitality. Helping couples realize their wedding dreams is her passion. And working with other organizations and companies to offer the best possible experience for their guests is her driving force. Growing up in Alaska, she is no stranger to the outdoors and fits right in to the Colorado Rockies. On the weekends she raises chickens and gardens with her husband Greg.

HEATHER SNOW

Senior Catering Planning Manager

Heather Snow has worked for more than 25 years in the hospitality industry. Early on, she worked part time in food & beverage operations while raising 4 beautiful children, then continued on as a restaurant manager and banquet manger. With a strong food and beverage background, Heather then tried her hand at conference planning followed by a venture into the world of sales in the association, corporate and sports markets.  In 2006 she became a Director of Cateringand discovered that catering is the place she enjoys the most in this industry. Heather prides herself in uncovering the customer's vision for their event and making it happen from beginning 'til end. Away from CMR, Heather enjoys hiking, kick boxing, watching football, cooking, baking and spending time with her grandchildren.

CONSTANZE STRADER

Wedding Event Manager

A European native, Constanze quickly fell in love with the hospitality industry after moving to Colorado Springs in the late 90's. After working for a few commercial hotel chains, Constanze was given the opportunity to work at Garden of the Gods Club & Resort and the Club at Rolling Hills in Golden, Colorado. It was here that she found her niche to apply her enthusiasm in planning and attention to detail. Constanze enjoys giving membership and guests a feeling of having a home away from home and being in great hands to plan any event from a meeting to a wedding.

In her spare time Constanze enjoys cooking for her family, dancing, going to a rodeo or PBR event, and riding horses.
