Experience the Royal Gorge Route like never before on the Santa Express Train! Imagine speeding through the winter scenery of Colorado’s grandest canyon on a festive train along with Santa and his elves!
 
This magical event runs now through December 30 (excluding Christmas day) and offers a roundtrip journey through the Royal Gorge, beginning and ending at the historic Royal Gorge Route Railroad in Cañon City, Colorado.
 
Board a beautifully decorated train car with your family and enjoy a hearty breakfast, lunch, or dinner along with hot cocoa and cookies, as the train makes its way to pick up Santa. Once the guest of honor boards the train, Santa will greet every child and give them a gift to keep forever.
 
As a grande finale, prepare to be dazzled with a festive laser light show on the return trip, featuring more than 50,000 lights bouncing off the canyon’s walls!
