    Jess Johnson

    Director of Sales and Marketing

    A veteran in hospitality, Jess leads the Sales and Marketing team with over two decades of experience, and over 15 years in Sales alone at resorts in Arizona, Texas, Tennessee, and Florida. Now Jess brings his years of experience in luxury hospitality to re-imagine the resort and epitomize its nature as Quintessential Colorado.

    Jess is an expert in branding, having worked under large brands such as Sheraton, JW Marriott, Hilton, and now Wyndham, along with smaller brands such as the Horseshoe Bay Resort and Kimpton. He sold the nearly 3,000 rooms of Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center and, across properties, oversaw renovations from $250 million to ground-up new builds and closed assets that were relaunched and rebranded.

    In his free time, Jess enjoys gardening and racing cars, along with spending time with his wife and three sons.

    Caitlin Palin

    Director of Group Sales

    With over a decade of coast to coast hospitality experience, Caitlin brings her passion for exceptional service to her new home in Colorado Springs. Caitlin draws from her years as an event manager to understand her clients’ missions. Coupled with her extensive budget management experience, she sets out to help her clients achieve their creative and financial goals. Her answer is always yes!

    Outside of work you’ll find Caitlin soaking up the sunshine on Colorado’s endless hiking trails, testing a new recipe, exploring a new restaurant, and chasing her young son around the house.

    Teresa Jackson

    Senior Sales Manager

    Teresa joined the team at Cheyenne Mountain in 2021 and is excited to call Colorado Springs home! With 30 years of combined hospitality sales and service experience in Arizona, Nevada, Washington D.C., and Colorado, Teresa is excited to get back to her roots of resort sales in such a stunning destination. She loves being able to share the beauty of Colorado and all that Cheyenne Mountain Resort offers with her customers. Her definitive goal is to learn what is most important to her customers, exceed their expectations, and ensure a successful program. She says,

    “To delight my customers at every opportunity and establish long-term business and personal relationships with them are what have been so gratifying over the years! I look forward to continuing this here at Cheyenne Mountain!”

    In her free time, Teresa enjoys hiking, golfing, kayaking or doing anything outdoors! She usually can be found accompanied by her furry sidekick, Rocky, a mini-schnauzer/dachshund mix! Teresa also loves discovering new restaurants and craft breweries within Colorado Springs, and spending time with family and friends.

    Lara LeGrand

    Senior Sales Manager

    Lara LeGrand is an accomplished Senior Sales Professional with record-setting performances and over 20 years of executive sales experience. From historic boutique hotels to destination golf resorts, her distinguished career in the hospitality industry has been fueled by a true passion for people. Lara prides herself in establishing genuine and long-term relationships with planners nationwide. Before accepting a position as a remote Senior Sales Manager out of the mid west, Lara was hired to helm our Director of Catering role. She’s also worked as Director of Sales and Marketing at the Hotel Julien Dubuque, Senior Sales Manager at Eagle Ridge Resort and Spa, and Director of Operations at the DeSoto House Hotel.

    Lara spends her spare time with her close friends, family, and sweet Yorkie, Luna, in Dubuque, Iowa!

    Laurel Abrahamsson

    Wedding Sales Manager

    Laurel joined the Cheyenne Mountain Resort team in 2021, and quickly found a home with Wyndham. As the new Wedding Sales Manager, she supports couples in creating unique and exceptional weddings to always remember. Laurel brings years of experience in customer service to the team; from working in retail to planning weddings at Disneyland. During her time as a wedding planner for Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings in Anaheim, CA, she learned valuable skills such as client relations, creating magical moments for guests, and much more. After her stint with Disney, she decided to move back home to Colorado Springs and dip her toes into new experiences at Wyndham. She is quickly learning to love resort life!

    When Laurel isn't at the office she serves as an advisor for the local chapter of her sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta, and is the Community Service Chair for the Junior League of Colorado Springs. She also enjoys going on food-ventures and taking her dog, Arlo, on hikes to alpine lakes.

Catering Team

    Bobbie Giles

    Director of Catering

    Bobbie leads the Catering Team with over 16 years of hospitality experience in roles selling and servicing events. Before she joined the team, Bobbie worked at the Jacquard Hotel & Rooftop and Hilton Denver Inverness, where she was instrumental in Catering Sales, developing packages, and fostering client relationships.

    Bobbie commutes from her home in Denver, where she spends her time with her husband, 3 children, and family dog.

Conference Team

    Director of Conference & Events

    A seasoned professional with 30 years of experience in the meetings industry, David has worked in large group and catering hotels in both Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

    His role as Director of Catering & Conference Management in these markets exposed him to selling and servicing everything from large domestic tradeshows, golf tournaments, and film shoots, to charity galas and debutante balls.  Passionate about food and beverage, he brings a West Coast flair to the team at Cheyenne Mountain and is focused on creating unique, complete, and seamless meeting and event experiences for all of our guests.

    Shannon Noroian

    Meetings & Conference Services Manager

    Originally from Florida, Shannon has been in hospitality for 20 years and specifically resort hotels for the past 6 years. More recently she spent time as a Senior Outlet Manager and then as Banquet Manager for Vail Resorts. With that background, she excels in creating a seamless event from start to finish. In her free time you can find Shannon with her husband, Pete, usually mountain biking, dirt biking, skiing, hiking, or camping - often with their puppy, Jinks!
